Charlie Meliala is a producer and composer based in Indonesia. As a composer, he has worked with renowned directors such as Garin Nugroho, Tonny Trimarsanto, Ismail Basbeth, Yosep Anggi Noen, and others on various short films and feature films that have received international recognition.
Previously worked as a Product Manager at Agentpoint Pty Ltd developing and maintaining a CRM system known as Zoo Property; this system is used by leading real estate, residential and commercial property companies and franchise brokers in Oceania, Australia, Miami and Southeast Asia, such as Knight Frank, Century 21 and Ray White. In 2013, he and Ismail Basbeth founded Bosan Berisik Lab which produced 400 WORDS (2013), Another Trip to the Moon (2015), The Carousel Never Stops Turning (2017), and Woo Woo (2019). These films traveled to various prestigious film festivals in the world such as IDFA, IFFR, Moscow International Film Festival, Sydney Film Festival, Tokyo International Film Festival, Busan International Film Festival and others. He has produced Agave Amica (2022) by Gembong Nusantara, Her Trilogy (2020-2023), and SARA (2023) by Ismail Basbeth. Aura Kampung Kuat is one of his latest productions with Bosan Berisik Lab.
