Hyejin KIM is a Korean filmmaker whose story explores freedom and self-discovery across borders, told as daringly yet delicately as possible. She studied film criticism at the Korea National University of Arts and is an alumna of the Busan Asian Film School. She has written and directed short films, including Luna(2023/S.Korea), Cefalea(2021/Albania–France), and L’enfant et le poulpe(2020/France–S.Korea). Her films have screened at the Busan International Short Film Festival, Al Este(Chile), the International Film Festival of Larissa(Greece), etc. She also worked for Producers Guild of Korea and has worked in different productions for feature films co-produced between S.Korea and other countries.
