Clara Josephine Bernadeth, better known as Clara Bernadeth, was born in Jakarta, Indonesia, on August 30, 1994. She is the second of three siblings, born to a family of mixed heritage that includes Javanese, French, Dutch, and Manadonese roots. Clara grew up in a warm household with her older sister, Caron Toshiko, and her younger sister, Caitlin Dimitri Shaquina. From an early age, she showed a strong interest in the arts and the entertainment world. After completing her secondary education, Clara pursued higher studies at Pelita Harapan University, majoring in International Relations.

Clara’s journey in the entertainment industry began around 2015, when she made her film debut in Skakmat. However, her popularity rose significantly in 2016 after appearing in Rizky Febian’s music video “Penantian Berharga”. Her captivating performance and natural expressions quickly drew public attention, followed by another notable appearance in Noah’s music video “Wanitaku”.

In 2017, Clara took another leap in her acting career by starring in the television drama “Cinta dan Rahasia” on NET TV, where she played the character Nadine. Her performance solidified her place as one of the promising new talents in Indonesian entertainment. Since then, Clara has appeared in various films and web series. Some of her most recognized works include Sebelum Iblis Menjemput (May the Devil Take You, 2018), Ikut Aku ke Neraka (Follow Me to Hell, 2019), Imperfect: Career, Love & Scales (2019), and Tersanjung The Movie (2020). She has showcased her versatility by taking on roles across different genres, from horror to romantic drama and comedy.

Beyond acting, Clara has also built a presence as a model, appearing in commercials and music videos, while frequently starring in original series for digital streaming platforms. With her elegant, approachable, yet enigmatic charm, she has become one of the most recognizable faces in Indonesian cinema and television.

In her personal life, Clara tends to keep things private, though she shared a major milestone when she married Palma Putra on November 6, 2021. Outside of her career, she enjoys traveling and dancing—activities that not only serve as personal hobbies but also enrich her creativity as an actress.
