Lyza started her journey in the film industry as the Festival Manager of the Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival (JAFF) 2013. Since 2017, she has served as the Program Director at Yayasan Sinema Yogyakarta, the foundation behind JAFF. Alongside her festival work, Lyza is an accomplished freelance line producer with renowned production houses such as Bosan Berisik Lab and Matta Cinema Production, where she has managed diverse projects with a strong creative and logistical sensibility.
In 2021, she co-founded the independent publishing company Ruang Basbeth Bercerita with IsmailBASBETH, who has experience in film for more than 15 years.  The company focuses on the development of original intellectual property (IP) of ismailBABSETH as a creator, fostering collaborations between visionary directors and emerging writers to craft compelling, cross-media storytelling.
Her passion for developing stories and supporting auteurs has earned her multiple recognitions. She was selected for the Producer’s Lab at Jakarta Film Week in 2022, and in 2023, she won 2nd Place in the Indonesiana Film Script Lab for her project Tinju Api (The Light of Fire). That same year, her project Raib (The Most Mysterious Man) was selected for Talents Tokyo. 
Her debut feature as a producer, Sara, premiered at the Busan International Film Festival in 2023. The following year, she was selected to join the Busan Asian Film School (AFiS) in South Korea, where her project Raib won the TAICCA Award during the AFiS Pitching Project at the Asian Content & Film Market 2024. Closing a landmark year, Lyza was also chosen as part of the Asian Producers Network 2024, further solidifying her presence in the Asian film industry.
Currently, Lyza serves on the board of Jogja Festival, the first integrated festival ecosystem in Indonesia, where she continues to advocate for creative collaboration, cultural dialogue, and sustainable film development in the region.
